Greenways Travel Club has arranged active vacations
and special interest tours along the Vienna-Prague
Greenways since 1996 and it is still our most popular program
in the Czech Republic. This unique, cultural trail and non-profit
initiative benefits local communities and leads through beautiful,
small Czech villages and towns. The highlights of this trail
are Mikulov and the Lednice-Valtice Area in the South Moravian
winegrowing region; Vranov by the Dyje river; the historical
towns of Slavonice, Telc and Jindrichuv Hradec and finally Cesky
Krumlov, a medieval town surrounded by the Vltava river.
Among our other popular walking and bicycle tours
are the Amber Trail
Greenways from Budapest to Krakow. This rewarding
route leads through three countries - Hungary, Slovakia, and
Poland in the steps of the historic amber trade route (more ...)
